Put a stamp on it

Childhood nightmare equals going to dentist. Same shit just different time frame. Who does not remember going to dentist clutching their favourite toy and of course holding their teeth together just to make a painful visit even longer. But for all of us the best part was in the end when u got your lolly, on which I still bang my head on, because in a way that is just mean. They are giving away lollys just to see me back as soon as possible and with more caries to work on. Damn you dentists, nice trick. Ok, ok I got a bit carried away... The best part, besides getting a lolly was getting a stamp on your hand or even on forehead for those a bit more creative which smudged right after the first hand wash. But it left a mark, a mark of accomplishment; giving a teeth away for better tomorrow.

Years from childhood I still clutch on my favourite item which are now bags not toys and make my mouth as small as they get. But the love for "the end" part remained. I still like stamps, smudged
or not smudged. Just now I don not show them of as much as before. :)
