Winter is coming and it is better to wrap ourselves in this cosy, warm knits to feel some sort of heat on minus 5 degrees. Even though is more or less an imaginary one.
SCANDINAVIAN KNITS is the lates project I have been styling on and this is the outcome. But the majority of effort goes to über talented power couple; Jernej Pepas Šuligoj and his better half Mateja Duljek. The executor and creative mind put together. The mother archetype can be associated with positive meanings or negative, evil meanings and it can appear in correlation with positive symbolism or negative and in this aspect it can form anything that is secret, hidden, dark; the abyss, the world of death, anything that devorous, seduces and poisons, that is terrifying and inescapable of fate. There is therefor the existing ambivalence between loving and terrible mother. Perhaps the most known historical example of the dual nature of the mother is the Virgin Mary,who is not only the Lord’s mother, but also his cross.
Boho bride as pure as she looks like she is mysterious, there is something hidden from us... Some aspects of here that is not loving or virginal. There is this duality captured in her soul.
